on my way to a portrait session last week i came across this bloak playing sweet trombone sounds on division and 30ish SE. he gave me permission to take his portrait and i like how these turned out. if you are out there, blues man, let me know what you think. :)
anna and daniel had an elegantly simple, urban wedding this january that all took place within one city block of their loft in NW. from their stylie pearl dist loft we walked to wedding venue, paragon and then across the street to asian fusion restaurant, bay 13 for the reception. we met the day before to do some couple and family portraits which made the wedding day really relaxed.
anna and daniel were comfortable with me and my camera, easy to photograph and just so cute!
i haven't blogged in tooo long so here's a glimpse of my latest portrait session with the most adorable family. ethan, their 2 year old, really liked my red stool prop but didn't particularly like sitting on it. when i would talk to him, getting him to smile for me, he would giggle for 2 seconds and then race to hug my leg! oh my it was adorable! austin, his new brother, is only 1 week old in these shots. welcome to our world, little man!
promotional materials... i made them myself a few months ago and have been meaning to blog them.
it is really a challenge to pick a handful of images to represent yourself, your image and talent and art. it took me many cups of coffee. they could have turned out differently and still been beautiful. but i really like them. :)
in the spirit of less consumerism and waste and more art and family fun, the curran's gave a mixed cd as part of their christmas gifts out to friends and family this year. here's their pick for the cover after a tween siblings photo shoot.
even though we did jake's senior pics december 10th, we found one tree holding onto it's intense fall color. his mom was happy about that. here's some nice shots. :) i love his dimple.
i'm a born and raised oregonian and besides my camera, i love frisbee, kids, coffee and day dreaming about the next stamp on my passport.
i hope you enjoy my work.
