some old wedding favorites

I've been sifting through my portfolio lately, partially rethinking my look for a new website design and partially just enjoying the images.  Here's some favorites I found from weddings past.

and of course a cute little flower girl eating blueberries out of a coffee mug.

indie wedding idea from an etsy crafter

i came across this talented artist today while browsing etsy.  she creates a custom print to commemorate your big day. poster size and just gorgeous.  they can be used as a signature board, instead of those wide mounted photos we've all signed.

a really nice indie detail to add to your celebration.

family holiday photography: fun on a rainy day

we were all a bit skeptical on this rainy sunday morning in beaverton that the magic would happen to make christmas card worthy family photos.  but, leave it to silly kiddos to brighten any day.

a merry new year to all.

my Bravo Wedding Guide ad for 2011: Portland Oregon Wedding Photographer

this wedding, in a forested ranch outside of the dalles was a few years ago, but I have always loved this photo.  I'm posting it here because I choose it for my ad in the Bravo Wedding Guide 2011.

these two sweethearts met at OHSU and are looking at her grandmother's bracelet in this shot.  :)

concert photography : music marketing photography

I took these photos for eric skye and friends a year or so ago and it's great to see how they are using them to market an upcoming concert.

this concert should be great, by the way!

ashley and patrick's downtown portland wedding

a super fun, fall portland wedding with enough clear skies to keep me happy and close friends who really knew how to ham it up for me.

the holy rosary church is a beautiful catholic church great for weddings in downtown portland.

i kept trying to get this little one to smile at me.  nope.  he never did! and his mom, behind him, thought it was hilarious.  but i love the way this turned out.

i couldn't have come up with this if i tried.  these guys were awesome!

patrick is just adorable.

thanks, you two, for a great time.  i hope all is settled after your move to texas.  happy holidays! xoxo

all photos taken by me, sara. :)
